How to play the 15 Puzzle
The board holds fifteen numbered tiles and one empty space. Click a tile next to the empty space to slide it across. Keep sliding tiles until the numbers read 1 to 15 in order, left to right, top to bottom, with the empty space in the bottom-right corner.
Tips
- Solve the top row and left column first, then work down into the smaller remaining square.
- Every puzzle here is shuffled with legal moves, so it's always solvable. Aim for the fewest moves — your best is saved.
