How to play Lights Out
Every tile is a light that's either on or off. Tapping a tile flips it and the tiles directly above, below, left and right of it. The goal is simple to state and tricky to do: turn all the lights off.
Tips
- Order doesn't matter and tapping the same tile twice cancels out — so focus on which tiles to press, not the sequence.
- A classic technique is "chasing the lights": clear row by row from the top, pressing the tile below each lit one, then fix the bottom row.
- Every puzzle here is generated to be solvable. Try the 3×3 board first, then step up to 5×5.
