How to play Whack-a-Gremlin

Choose a 30- or 60-second round and press Start. Gremlins pop out of the holes one at a time — click or tap one while it's up to score a point. Each gremlin only stays up for a moment before ducking back down, and as the clock counts down they appear faster and stay up for less time, so your reflexes really get tested near the end. Your best five scores for each round length are saved on the leaderboard below.

Tips

  • Keep your eyes on the whole grid rather than fixing on one hole.
  • Tap decisively — hesitation costs you points as gremlins vanish quickly.
  • Your best score is saved in your browser, so keep trying to beat it.
